Shake 524: In memory

The old NY sites

It feels like it was just the other year. I was working in town at the time, I remember walking through Martin Place and there was a strange quietness and an inexplicable numbness because no one knew what to feel. It’s been a decade since September 11. And while I’ve had one of my best decades, others have been dealing with loss. That one day changed our world irrevocably. Whether you think the consequence of that day is the gradual loss of freedom due to fear, or attempts to build a path toward understanding each other to avoid a similar event, we all remember the lives lost for no reason.
