Shake 260: On the eighth day of Christmas…

December 21, 2010

Cookie & Newfie, Newfoundland (Canada), Jan 2010

…eight maids a-milking, seven swans a-swimming, six geese a-laying, five golden rings, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtledoves and a partridge in a pear tree.

In the tradition of giving tree ornaments, Cookie and Newfie discovered this super-fun one on their travels home last Christmas to Newfoundland, where if an iceberg happens to hit their shores, they wave goodbye to enjoying a warm summer. That’s my favourite little bit of Newfoundland trivia.

Now that I have my photography skills sorted, it’s time to turn a little attention to better video work isn’t it? I won’t tell you how many times I shot this one, but let’s just say this was the best of the bad.
